Cesc Fabregas, head coach of Como, has caught the attention of major football clubs like Manchester City and Barcelona. This was reported by Il Messaggero.
According to the source, the City Group is considering the former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder as a potential replacement for Pep Guardiola if he leaves his position before the end of his contract. Barcelona are also on the list of contenders, as there is a longstanding mutual admiration between the club and the coach.
Additionally, it has been reported that Inter and AC Milan are closely monitoring Fabregas's contract to see if he could become their coach should Simone Inzaghi and Sergio Conceicao depart.
The 37-year-old Spanish coach started his coaching career in 2023, initially leading the under-19 team of Como before taking on the role of head coach. In 2024, Fabregas was officially named the head coach of the Italian club.
Previously, there were reports that Manchester City could part ways with eight players in the summer of 2025.
