Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen, who suffered a heart attack during the UEFA European Championship in 2020, has been included in the final Danish squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The team's application is published on the Danish Football Union (DFU) website.

Eriksen underwent surgery for a cardioverter-defibrillator after the Euro 2022 incident. He resumed his career in January 2022, signing a contract with club Brentford. The 30-year-old moved to Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

Eriksen has played a total of 117 matches for his country's national team, scoring 39 goals.

The Danish national team face France, Tunisia and Australia at the 2022 World Cup group stage.
