The management of Munich's Bayern is interested in inviting current Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery after Thomas Tuchel leaves at the end of the season.
The German giants are in second place in the Bundesliga standings, trailing Bayer by ten points. Bayern has also reached the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
According to TZ, in addition to Emery, the list of contenders for the coaching position includes Bayer coach Javi Alonso and Brighton coach Roberto De Zerbi, whom Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl recently met with.
Previously, Thomas Tuchel expressed the opinion that Bayern has not dropped out of the championship race in the Bundesliga. Bayern striker Harry Kane admitted that he was upset after hearing the news of Tuchel's departure.
