Entrepreneur Elon Musk continues to follow the sale of EPL club Manchester United by the Glazer family to new owners, reports the Daily Mail.
The head of Tesla has already spoken about his intention to buy the team, but later assured that his words were a joke. The estimated cost of United is more than 5 billion euros, while Musk's fortune is estimated at 178 billion euros.
There are also some investors from Saudi Arabia among the contenders for the purchase. The deadline for submitting bids for the purchase of the club is February 17.
In the current season, Manchester United is in third place with 46 points after 23 rounds.
