El Nacional: Saudi Pro League Club Offers a Job for Pep Guardiola

The El Nacional website has reported that Pep Guardiola, the head coach of English Premier League club Manchester City, has received an attractive job offer.

According to sources, an unnamed Saudi Arabian football club wants to bring the 54-year-old Spaniard on board. If he moves to the Middle East, his salary could increase significantly compared to what he currently earns at City. Nevertheless, Manchester City has expressed their confidence in their coach.

On February 22, the Footmercato outlet published news that Guardiola plans to step down as head coach of the Citizens at the end of the 2024/2025 season. A day prior, the Mirror reported that he intends to fire eight first-team players, including midfielders Jack Grealish and Kevin De Bruyne.

After 26 rounds of the 2024/2025 Premier League season, City has collected 44 points and currently sits in fourth place in the standings. Additionally, Manchester City has concluded their Champions League run at the playoff round stage, losing to Real Madrid on aggregate (1:3, 2:3).
