Eintracht Frankfurt president Peter Fischer has resigned, deciding to devote himself to the cause of fighting Nazism.

Fischer led the German club since 2000, Mathias Beck will succeed him as president.
Under Fischer's leadership, Eintracht won the German Cup in the season-2017/2018, and the Europa League in the season-2021/2022.
In the current Bundesliga draw, the Eagles are in sixth place in the standings after 20 rounds with 31 points.
