Real Madrid's midfielder Eduardo Camavinga will miss the start of the season after suffering a sprain of the internal collateral ligament in the left knee.
The injury happened during a collision with teammate Aurelien Tchouameni during their Super Cup training session on Tuesday at Warsaw's National Stadium. The 21-year-old midfielder is expected to be out for at least six to seven weeks and return around October.
The club confirmed in a statement.
"After the tests carried out today, our player Eduardo Camavinga has been diagnosed with a sprain of the internal collateral ligament in his left knee."
