30-year-old Dutch forward Memphis Depay has signed a contract with Brazilian club Corinthians, as confirmed by the club's press service. His contract with the new team will run until December 31, 2026.
Depay's previous club was Atlético Madrid, where his contract ended in July of this year. He played for los Colchoneros starting in January 2023 after transferring from Barcelona, where he had been since 2021.
During his time in Spain, he scored 14 goals in 42 matches across all competitions. Throughout his career, he has also played for PSV, Manchester United, and Lyon. For the Netherlands national team, Memphis appeared in 98 matches, netting 46 goals.
According to Transfermarkt, his market value is currently estimated at €10 million.
In a separate report, it was revealed that Depay paid a €1 million bond for Dani Alves.
