Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma took to his social media to share a photo following his facial injury, captioning it with reassurance that he is doing fine.
On December 18, in the 16th round of Ligue 1 against Monaco (4-2), the goalkeeper sustained a facial injury. During the first half, Monaco player Wilfried Singo kicked Donnarumma in the face, leading to his substitution for Matvey Safonov in the 22nd minute.
It was later revealed that Donnarumma required ten stitches for his injury.
Donnarumma has been with Paris Saint-Germain since July 2021. He has played a total of 130 matches for the French club, conceding 128 goals while achieving 44 clean sheets.
