France's national team head coach Didier Deschamps commented on the reduced suspension of 31-year-old Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
Deschamps told RMC Sport:
The light is shining once again. He will have steps to make but it is excellent news that he will be able to play from March. I spoke to him for a long time on the phone, just like throughout this period, which has been difficult for him.
Last year, Pogba's doping test revealed testosterone levels that led to a suspension. Following the analysis of his B sample, the result was confirmed.
During his time with Juventus, Pogba became a four-time Italian champion and won the Europa League with Manchester United. He is also the winner of the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the UEFA Nations League.
