The leadership of Munich's Bayern has only one candidate left for the position of head coach after Hans-Dieter Flick's rejection. It is Brighton coach Roberto De Zerbi.
After a trophyless season, the bosses of the German powerhouse will part ways with Thomas Tuchel, who has been with Bayern since 2023.
According to Bild, Munich's sporting director Max Eberl held a meeting with De Zerbi, presenting the Italian's candidacy to Bayern's management at the same time.
Earlier it was reported that Manuel Neuer and Thomas Muller are trying to convince Bayern's senior management to keep Tuchel. Rumors suggest that the current coach failed to agree with Bayern and will leave his position after the end of the current season.
