According to Fabrizio Romano, Dani Olmo’s transfer from RB Leipzig to Barcelona is close to getting the deal done, with meetings ongoing between Barcelona's sporting director, Deco Dani Olmo, his father, and his agent in Leipzig.
Olmo's brilliant performances at Euro 2024 as Spain cruised to the title have attracted Barcelona's interest in signing the midfielder. The Catalan side had kept Olmo's signing as the second priority as they looked to sign Athletic Club's Nico Williams first.
However, the Spaniards who wanted the Barcelona move have agreed on a six-year deal valid until June 2030 for a fee set at around €55 million (£46.3 million/$59.3 million) along with €7 million (£5.9 million/$7.5 million) in add-ons, according to Fabrizio Romano.
