Forward for Albanian national team Mirlind Daku shared his expectations for his national team's performance at the European Football Championship in Germany in an interview with Telecomasia.net.
Albania is in Group B at Euro 2024, where they will play against Spain, Italy, and Croatia.
- The Albanian national team has been placed in the "group of death" at Euro 2024. What are your expectations from the tournament?
- We know we are in a tough group at Euro 2024. Spain, Italy, Croatia are some of the strongest teams in the world. But we have an excellent team and fantastic players. We will do everything to show our best qualities and represent Albania well at the Euros," said Daku.
- What do you think is Albania's advantage over its rivals in the group?
- Our advantage is that we are going to the Euros without any pressure. Essentially, our task is already complete because we made it to the final tournament. We will try to surprise everyone.
The final stage of the European Football Championship will take place from June 14 to July 14. Albania will play their first match against Italy on July 15.
