The debut of Cristiano Ronaldo, the star rookie of Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr, is postponed due to the player's disqualification.
Daily Mail journalists pointed out that Cristiano was suspended for two matches by the Football Association of England in November over an incident that occurred in April. At the time, Ronaldo knocked the phone out of the hands of a young Everton fan.
According to FIFA rules, disqualifications are transferred to other leagues. Thus, the 37-year-old Portuguese won't make his debut for Al-Nassr until January 21 in a game against Al Ettifaq.
