Al-Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo shared his thoughts on the difficulties of moving to Saudi Arabia. According to the Portuguese star, transferring to the Middle Eastern club was not a challenge for him.
Ronaldo stated during a conversation with Rio Ferdinand on his YouTube channel:
My whole life, it's about challenges. I left my house at 11 years old to live in a big city. For me, it's easy. I changed from Madeira to Lisbon, Lisbon to England, England to Spain, then Italy and then back to England.
The 39-year-old has been playing for Al-Nassr since January 2023 after his contract with Manchester United ended. His current contract runs until the end of the 2024/25 season, and Transfermarkt values him at €15 million. Ronaldo intends to play in Saudi Arabia until the end of his career, believing that his presence has raised the standard of football in the country.
