In the near future, the goalkeeper will undergo surgery on the damaged right knee.
The 31-year-old Belgian played 49 matches for Real Madrid last season (17 clean sheets), conceding 49 goals.
His contract with the club runs until the end of June 2026, Transfermarkt website estimates the market value of the goalkeeper at €45 million.
