According to Mundo Deportivo, the Commercial Court of Barcelona has canceled the registration of midfielder Gavi as a first team player for Barcelona.
The decision was based on the fact that the Blaugrana filed a suit one day late. The 18-year-old will be re-registered with Barça's youth team.
In January, La Liga informed the Catalan club that it would not be able to register Gavi as a first-team player due to a breach of the regulations.
Gavi has made 36 appearances for the Catalan club this season, scoring two goals and providing five assists. Transfermarkt estimates the player's market value at €90 million.
