Corinthians footballer Yuri Alberto shared a startling incident that occurred during a Brazilian championship match against Palmeiras (which ended 2-0 in favor of Corinthians), in which Alberto scored a goal.

"I almost broke my leg. I thought it was something like a cushion, so I went to move it, but instead of dragging it away, I kicked it," Alberto told O Globo.

Alberto claims he didn’t notice it was an animal's head.

At the start of the match, Corinthians fans threw a pig's head onto the field. Given that Palmeiras are nicknamed "Porco" (pig), Corinthians fans aimed to mock their opponents in this way.
