Napoli's new head coach Antonio Conte has refused to sing insulting chants against Juventus with the team's fans.
Conte said at a meeting with fans:
I will always be a polite and respectful person, so do not ask me for things I will not do, not just for a single team, but for all teams. We coaches have to set a positive example. What I can tell you is that you have Napoli's number one fan right here in front of you.
Conte led Juventus from 2011 to 2014. The appointment of the specialist as head coach of Napoli was announced on June 5. Conte signed a three-year contract with the club.
