Former Paraguay goalkeeper Jose Luis Chilavert has talked the behaviour of Real Madrid's Brazilian striker Vinicius Júnior, who broke into tears when asked about discrimination.
The Real Madrid player is regularly subjected to racist insults. On 17 March, at a match against Osasuna, the home team's fans chanted "Vinicius, die!" at the forward.
The 58-year-old Paraguayan wrote on his social networks:
Jose Luis Chilavert
Bread and circus, he is the first one to insult and attack rivals. Don't be a f*****, football is for men.
Earlier, La Liga president Javier Tebas called Vinicius a "role model in the fight against racism". Real Madrid defender Daniel Carvajal said fans who insult Vinicius are ruining football.
