Former Juventus player Giorgio Chiellini shared his memories of the period of playing for the Turin club with Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
Chiellini was quoted as saying by FIFA's official website:
Giorgio Chiellini
He wanted to score, break all the records and always win, which he continues to do even now. That's Cristiano and he's exactly as you see him. You can get to know people without experiencing them, but there were so many little things [with him] - like his dedication to small things everyday - that made it a privilege for me to have played with him for three years.
The players played together at Juventus from 2018 to 2021.
Chiellini announced the end of his career in December 2023, his last club was Los Angeles of MLS.
Ronaldo continues to play professionally for Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr, where he was named the local Pro League Player of the Month for March, scoring four goals in three meetings.
