
The press service of Lisbon's Sporting has confirmed the sale of two young footballers to London’s Chelsea for a total of 74 million euros.
The English club has completed the transfers of 17-year-old Portuguese winger Geovany Quenda and 20-year-old defensive midfielder Dário Essugo, who is currently on loan at Las Palmas.
Quenda's transfer cost Chelsea approximately 52 million euros, and 22 million euros for Essugo. Quenda will remain with Sporting until 2026.
In the Premier League standings, Chelsea currently sit fourth with 49 points.
