Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer has been named the PFA Young Player of the Year.
The England midfielder enjoyed 2023–24 at Stamford Bridge after joining from Manchester City last summer for an initial fee of £40 million, with an additional £2.5 million due in potential add-ons.
Palmer scored 25 goals and recorded 15 assists in his 45 games in all competitions, and as a result, the England international was crowned the Londoners’ Player of the Season in recognition of his efforts last term.
He collected the PFA award from Blues legend Gianfranco Zola at a ceremony at the Manchester Opera House on Tuesday.
