Chelsea's head coach Enzo Maresca has commented on the positive doping test of the team’s Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk.
Journalist Ben Jacobs quotes Maresca as saying:
Now the situation is a bit more clear, in terms of the statement, there is not anything to add. We trust Micha. Micha is a Chelsea player so it is my duty to be in contact with him. It is about any player in the world that this kind of thing happen to, they need support.
In the current season, Mudryk has scored three goals and provided five assists in 15 matches across various competitions. Chelsea are currently in second place in the Premier League table, with 34 points after 16 matches in the English championship.
