Chelsea have reportedly made a move to sign Brentford striker Ivan Toney despite being heavily linked with a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli.
The 28-year-old striker has just one year left on his contract and was not included in Brentford's squad for the first two Premier League games against Crystal Palace and Liverpool.
According to Sky Sports' expert Kaveh Solhekol, Chelsea has made a move to sign Ivan Toney from Brentford in an attempt to prevent his potential move to Saudi Arabia. Al-Ahli is reported to have made an "incredible" offer, but Chelsea is hoping to convince Toney to stay in the Premier League. This comes after Chelsea's unsuccessful attempts to persuade Victor Osimhen to leave Napoli.
