The statement also mentioned that the club has initiated an internal disciplinary procedure.
In the final of the 2024 Copa America, the Argentinian national team defeated Colombia 1-0 to clinch the trophy. After the match, Argentine Enzo Fernandes, along with his compatriots, sang an offensive song aimed at the players of the French national team. The chant was directed towards the French team players and their national affiliation.
