Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury and will miss more than seven months, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The 22-year-old French player will have to undergo surgery to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament.
Fofana moved to Chelsea from Leicester in the summer of 2022 for €80 million. In total, the player played 20 matches in the English club, in which he scored two goals. Portal Transfermarkt estimates the value of the player at €55 million.
