Chelsea is still paying former head coach Graham Potter €237,000 every week following his dismissal in April 2023.
According to the Daily Mail, the London club will continue to make these payments monthly until October 2024. Should Potter be appointed as the new head coach of the England national team after Gareth Southgate vacates his position, the Football Association will compensate Chelsea with €1 million.
Potter managed the London club beginning in 2022. Prior to that, he coached Brighton & Hove Albion, Östersunds FK, and Swansea City.
