Chelsea press service has confirmed the transfer of goalkeeper Edouard Mendy to Al Ahli (Saudi Arabia).
The media previously wrote that the club will pay £16 million for the Senegalese's transfer and his agreement will be valid until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Mendy, 31, has played for Chelsea since 2020 and has won the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, the Club World Cup, the EFL Cup and twice the FA Cup with the club.
He has played 105 games for the Londoners in which he conceded 86 goals and kept 49 clean sheets. Transfermarkt portal estimates the market value of Mendy at €12 million.
