Chelsea officially announced the acquisition of 18-year-old striker Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa, according to the official website of the London team.
The Blues signed a contract with the winger for six years with an option to extend for another year. The transfer sum totalled €22 million.
Meanwhile, defender Ian Maatsen, who spent the second half of the season-2023/2024 in Borussia Dortmund on loan, made the opposite move and went to Aston Villa from Chelsea. The Birmingham club paid €44.2 million for him.
