Chelsea are looking to enhance their academy by acquiring promising striker Mathis Eboue, according to Mail Sport.
The club is currently in negotiations with Watford regarding a compensation fee for the 15-year-old son of former Arsenal and Ivory Coast defender Emmanuel Eboue. Sources indicate that the two sides are discussing the details regarding the transfer compensation.
Mathis Eboue plays for Watford's teams above his age group and has already scored for their Under-21 team. In October, he scored the winning goal for the England Under-16 team against France, contributing to their victory in the Challenge Trophy in Spain.
Emmanuel Eboue played for Arsenal from 2004 to 2011, making over 200 appearances and winning the FA Cup with the London club.
