Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has spoken about the upcoming match of the 38th round of the EPL between Manchester City and West Ham. He also shared his opinion about the Cityzens and their head coach Josep Guardiola.
The Telegraph quotes Carragher as saying:
Manchester City's win on Sunday will erase any doubts about their and Pep Guardiola's place in English football history. City are the best Premier League side this country has ever seen. Guardiola is the greatest manager of the modern era.
The former footballer said that the statistics speak for themselves, and if City win four titles in a row, it will be a new achievement, surpassing even the best results of Manchester United.
Guardiola's team is top of the league table after 37 rounds of the EPL with 88 points. After the match with West Ham, Man City can win the fourth season of the English championship in a row and the sixth title in seven years.
Earlier Carragher said that the striker of the Cityzens Erling Haaland does not reach the level of a world-class player. Meanwhile, Guardiola said that he did not know about the progress of negotiations between the Norwegian and the club on a new contract.
