Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti could be sentenced to four years and nine months in prison in Spain for tax issues, reported by Relevo.
The coach returned to Real Madrid in 2021. During his tenure, Ancelotti led Real Madrid to victories in La Liga, the Champions League, the Copa del Rey, and two Spanish Super Cups, as well as the Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup.
It has been reported that the Italian only paid taxes on his Real Madrid salary in 2014 and 2015, failing to declare additional sources of income. Ancelotti's total debt amounts to over one million euros.
Earlier, Ancelotti refused to buy Kepa for Real Madrid due to the player’s discontent. Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric, despite being invited by Carlo Ancelotti, will not be part of the team's coaching staff.
