Former Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has opened up about the time Cristiano Ronaldo spent at the club, highlighting both his immense strength and underlying fragility.
Buffon said, as reported by AS:
I saw in him a great strength and also a fragility, linked to the absence of his father, to the hard path he had to face.
To recall, Cristiano Ronaldo joined the Turin club in 2018 and played for three seasons until 2021. During his time at Juventus, he made 134 appearances, scoring 101 goals and making 22 assists.
Ronaldo's father passed away when the football star was just 20 years old.
