Silvano Martina, the agent of Parma goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, will soon discuss the termination of the player's agreement with the team, Sky Sport reports.
According to their data, the 45-year-old Italian can finish his professional career. After that, Buffon may become the head of the delegation of the Italian national team.
Earlier it was reported that the Saudi club offered the goalkeeper a contract for two years with a salary of €30 million.
Note that Buffon began his professional career at Parma, where he became the winner of the Italian Cup in the season-1998/99, the winner of the Italian Super Cup in 1999 and the winner of the UEFA Cup-1998/99. The goalkeeper also played at club level for Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.
The player returned to Parma in 2021. In the season-2021/22 Buffon appeared on the field 19 times, keeping five clean sheets and scoring 24 goals. The goalkeeper's current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2024.
