Brazil's Coach Dorival Jr Takes Responsibility For Copa America Exit

Brazil's head coach Dorival Jr took full responsibility for the exit of his team from the current edition of the Copa America.

Goal quoted the specialist as saying:

We are undergoing a very important renovation or reinvention of this team. I have only coached this team for eight matches and this is a process that we have to go through. I do have to acknowledge that these weren't the expected results, and I take full responsibility for them.

Recall that Brazil was eliminated from the 2024 Copa America, losing to Uruguay in the quarterfinal match on penalty kicks.
