The Brazilian national team started with a victory at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. In the match of the first round of the group stage, Tite's team outplayed Serbia with a score of 2-0.
The first half was not very spectacular and ended with a score of 0-0. Brazil had five shots and allowed one on its own, but no one could score.
And in the 62nd minute the Brazilians finally managed a scoring attack. Serbian goalkeeper Vanja Milinković-Savić saved a powerful kick by Vinícius Júnior, but Tottenham forward Richarlison was first to finish.
Eleven minutes later, Richarlison scored a double.
In the remaining time, Brazil had several chances to make it big, but the game ended with a 2-0 score.

In the other match of Group G, Switzerland defeated Cameroon with a score of 1-0. Thus, Brazil and Switzerland topped the group with 3 points. In the next round, they will play each other on November 28.
