The ex-forward of Cruzeiro, PSV, Barcelona, Inter, Real Madrid, Milan, Corinthians, and the Brazilian national team has won the Ballon d'Or twice (1997, 2002), along with gold medals at two World Cups (1994, 2002), two Copa America titles (1997, 1999), and the 1997 Confederations Cup. He retired in 2011.
Earlier reports mentioned that Ronaldo is interested in bringing current Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti to lead the Brazilian national team. Messi has also praised Ronaldo, calling him a phenomenon and the best player he has ever seen.
