Brazilian police are investigating the disappearance of former Brazilian Corinthians footballer Marcelinho Carioca, reports g1.globo.com.
According to the source, he has not been seen since Sunday - on that day he went to a party in the eastern part of Sao Paulo by car. According to police officials, Marcelinho went to a music event near the Corinthians arena and disappeared.
During his playing career, Carioca played for Brazilian clubs such as Corinthians, Flamengo, Santos and Vasco da Gama. In Europe, he has played for Spanish Valencia and French side Ajaccio.
