Borussia Dortmund have published their new home kits for the 2022/23 season. The technical sponsor is German company Puma.
It is noteworthy that the jersey design was designed by a fan of the team. Around a year ago, Borussia announced a competition for the creation of the new jersey design, with more than 15,000 designers from more than a hundred countries taking part. As a result, only nine best designs were chosen, and 150,000 fans voted for the final version. The design by graphic designer Timo R. from Marl, Germany, won by a wide margin, and he was later engaged in the making of the jersey.
Borussia Dortmund leads the German Bundesliga standings after 33 matchdays, two points ahead of Bayern Munich. In the final, 34th matchday, Edin Terzić's charges will take on Mainz. The meeting will take place on May 27, starting at 16:30 GMT+3.
