According to Bild, Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery, along with Everton coach Roberto De Zerbi, are the main candidates for the position of head coach at Bayern Munich.
The Bayern leadership reportedly prefers Emery due to his experience working in top clubs, unlike De Zerbi. After this season, Thomas Tuchel will step down as boss of the record-breaking team.
Emery has been in charge of Aston Villa since November 2022 and previously worked with PSG (2016-2018) and Arsenal in London (2018-2019). Another candidate is former Lokomotiv director Ralf Rangnick, who currently leads the Austrian national team.
