Fans of Istanbul's Besiktas threw stuffed toys at the pitch during the 14th match of the Turkish football championship against Antalyaspor.
The meeting was held on February 26 at the home arena of Besiktas and ended in a draw 0-0.
According to ESPN FC, the toys will be sent to children affected by the devastating earthquakes in Turkey in early February.
The match was suspended 4 minutes and 17 seconds after the starting whistle. The stoppage of the game had symbolic significance because the first earthquake in Turkey was recorded at 04:17 local time.
Over 44 thousand people became victims of the natural disaster. There were athletes among the dead and wounded.
