The Appeals Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has upheld a two-match suspension for Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham.
On February 19, the AS portal, citing the RFEF, reported that the 21-year-old Bellingham received a two-match ban in the 2024/2025 La Liga season due to a red card received in the 24th-round match against Osasuna (1:1). On the same day, Real Madrid's management indicated their intention to appeal the decision, according to insider Fabrizio Romano.
As a result, Bellingham will be forced to miss the next two matches in the national championship, against Girona (February 23, home) and Betis (March 2, away).
In the 2024/2025 season, Bellingham played 20 La Liga matches, scoring seven goals and providing six assists. Under the management of Carlo Ancelotti, los Blancos have earned 51 points and currently sit in second place of the league’s table.
