Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has become the main contender for the Ballon d'Or at the end of this season according to Goal.
The midfielder has scored 17 goals and made five assists in 21 matches of the current season at the Madrid club.
Bellingham's compatriot, Bayern forward Harry Kane, is in second place. Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe rounds out the top three. Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah are also in the top 5 respectively.
Reigning and eight-time winner Lionel Messi is only 19th on the list of contenders. Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo is two spots above him.
