David Beckham, owner of the Inter Miami football club, has announced that forward Lionel Messi plans to return to Barcelona after he finishes his career.
Messi has been competing with the MLS team since 2023. Messi won four Champions League titles and ten La Liga championships during his time at Barcelona, which was from 2003 to 2021.
Beckham was quoted by BarcaUniversal as saying:

I would like Messi to live in Miami after he retires, but Leo has told me that he only thinks about living near the Camp Nou. There is no player who loves Barcelona more than him.
Earlier reports indicated that Inter Miami's management and Messi are discussing the terms for a contract extension. Also, Neymar expressed his desire to play alongside Messi and Luis Suarez again.
