England and Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane has scored a double against Heidenheim (4-2) and set a German league record for the number of goals scored at the start of the season.
The 30-year-old Englishman became the first player in history to score 17 goals in the first 11 matches of the German Bundesliga. Also, nobody had scored more than one goal in four consecutive German league games before Kane.
In total, the Bayern rookie has 21 goals and seven assists in 16 games for Munich this season. Bayern leads the Bundesliga table with 29 points.
Earlier, Kane set a record of the German championship on the number of goals in the first ten rounds of the season.
