Bayern Refuse To Sign Jerome Boateng

Bayern Munich will not sign 35-year-old defender Jerome Boateng, German publication Bild reported.

According to the source, the cause of the refusal was a pending criminal case for assaulting a woman. The verdict of the defender was canceled due to technical errors, and the trial was transferred to the Munich Regional Court.

The footballer had previously trained with the main squad of the Munich club he had previously played for.

Boateng has played 588 matches in his career, scoring 16 goals and making 36 assists. Transfermarkt website estimates the defender's transfer value at €800,000.
