Bayern Munich Ready to Increase Musiala's Salary to Keep Him

Bundesliga club Bayern Munich seeks to keep 21-year-old attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala. Sky Sport Germany reports that they are preparing to raise his salary to €25 million per year.

Such an increase would place Musiala on equal footing with forward Harry Kane, currently the highest-paid player at the German club.

According to the report, the management of the Munich club plans to offer the young star a contract that would last until 2029 or 2030. It has been noted that Bayern's management has already begun negotiations with the player regarding an extension of his current contract.

Musiala has been with Bayern since July 2020. During his time with the team, he has played 171 matches, scored 46 goals, and made 34 assists. His current agreement with Bayern runs until June 2026. Transfermarkt estimates the midfielder at €130 million.

In other news, TEAMtalk previously reported that Bayern Munich may look to acquire Alisson Becker from Liverpool as a replacement for Manuel Neuer.
