Bayern Munich is ready to consider a transfer for defender Alphonso Davies in the upcoming summer transfer window if the player declines to extend his contract. This was shared by football insider Florian Plettenberg on social media.
As per the source, the parties are currently unable to agree on the financial terms of a new deal. Bayern offered a contract until 2029 with an annual salary of 14 million euros. The player's management insists on a fee of no less than 20 million euros.
If Davies refuses the offer by the end of next week, the club will put him up for sale.
In the current season, Davies has played 31 matches in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing three assists. His current contract runs until mid-2025.
