According to Bild, Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and Regensburg handball player Anika Bissel have become husband and wife. The footballer is 14 years older than his wife.
The wedding took place on the afternoon of November 12 in the town hall near the Tegernsee Lake. The ceremony lasted less than 20 minutes. It was a small wedding, attended by a close circle of relatives: in a small wedding hall on the first floor of the town hall fit about 20 guests.
Earlier Bild reported that the couple is engaged, and Bissel will soon become a mother. The child of the newly married couple is expected to be born in the spring of 2024. Officially the athletes did not announce their wedding, but Bissel changed her surname to Neuer on one of her social media accounts.
This is the second marriage for the goalkeeper of the Munich club. He split up with his ex-wife Nina Weiss in 2019. They were married for almost three years.
